Executive office suites can be a solid alternative for professionals and or people interested in starting a business to house their operation. The benefits are many, with few draw backs.

As far the advantages, simply having a receptionist answering the phone can be huge. Having an actual human answer the phone lends the air of professionalism and reliability that the business is stable and at least can afford a secretary. Customers feel at ease that they will be able to get someone on the phone.

Other benefits include having a fully set up and operational office space. The company can move in and within a few hours or days can have their entire office space set up and ready to go with full secretarial support. Compare this with going out and renting typical office space. It may take weeks just to get the internet and or phone lines set up. Other issues like cleaning, painting and maintenance may add more time/aggravation to the process versus having all of this taken care of for the executive office suite tenant.

An important thing to be mindful of with executive office space is that tenants should be careful with how they interact with other tenants as any conflicts that may arise could cause annoying and or awkward situations. The other tenants should be thought of almost as roommates as you will consistently be seeing and possibly interacting with them regularly. Also if secretarial support is sought out, the fees can add up quickly. It should be well understood and documented how, when and under what arrangement the services will be paid for.

All in all choosing to go the executive office suite route can be a major no brainer, especially if the alternative for the business owner is to work from the house or rent a traditional office space. Both of these are costly in terms of lack of productivity in the case of the prior, or directly in the case of the latter.
